About us

The Israel National Labor Federation was founded in Jerusalem in 1934 by the Revisionist

Zionism movement with the goal to protect its members' employment rights. It includes the

Emily daycare network and the National Youth movement.

It was formed under the principal that its doors, services and affiliated institutions will remain

open to all workers regardless of their political views.

In addition, further principals were set and form the spirit of the National Labor Federation

to this day, among them:

• The National Labor Federation is a professional union engaged in protecting its member

professional affairs.

• The National Labor Federation will cooperate with other organizations determined to

promote, protect and maintain workers' rights.

• The National Labor Federation will fight for fair employment terms and to establish proper

working relations.

With its core activity being the professional union division, the National Labor Federation

set as its prime priority to handle workers' rights, protect their wages and social benefits,

protect them against dismissal and employment discrimination, sign collective labor

agreements and hold negotiations with employers, provide pensionary advice and legal

assistance, train employee committees in various fields, and more.
